Missions

Matthew 28:19-20 – 19  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Our leadership is committed to keeping this commission not only here in Pearland but around the world.

Mission Trips to Africa: We support several preachers who work out of Savé, a provincial city in Benin, West Africa. These gentlemen are not working in the city itself but in remote villages surrounding the city. Some of these men ride for as much as three hours on a motorcycle just to reach a village in which to preach. We supply them with a base salary and money for upkeep on the motorcycles and other expenses they might incur trying to reach their congregations.

We also support F.A.C.E. (French African Christian Education) with these funds. This organization was formed in 2006 and is headed up by 11 board members from congregations in Texas, Arkansas and Kentucky. The purpose of this organization is to help collect and distribute money to the (B.T.C.) Benin Bible Training Center. This school of preaching in Zinvie, Africa is headed up by Dr.George Akpabli, and has turned out some fine young preachers. They are growing very quickly.

Bear Valley Bible Institute – we have been supporting the Bear Valley Institute since 1993. Our monthly contributions are utilized to support one full-time instructor.  Take a moment to review the Bear Valley website and see what they are doing to further the Word.
