What a great day we had last Sunday. The hearts of the Saints were refreshed by coming together in unity and truth to Worship the God of Heaven. As we move forward to regain some normalcy in our lives, I want to encourage all of us to continue to put God first. I encourage you to call each other and keep in touch. Exhort and admonish one another. This congregation has a great love for the Lord Jesus and the saints that meet here, and for that we are grateful. What a great family we have here in Pearland. It is my prayer that we all grow spiritually and fully united in Christ as a family and His dear children. Paul once admonished Philemon concerning the church and the refreshed hearts of the saints.
“ I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,  that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. For we have great joy and consolation in your love because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother” (Philemon 1:4-7).

Paul heard of the love of the church that met in Philemon’s house. This love brought Paul great joy because of the positive impact Philemon’s life in Christianity was having on the congregation. Brethren, let us be like that. Let us remember to love the Lord and His church. Let us be unified in the truth, always looking for opportunities to refresh the saints here in Pearland. As the weeks go by let us consider one another, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24-25). We look forward to next Sunday. We look forward to coming together to worship our God. What a blessing it is to be in Christ. What a blessing it is to have a Christian family, and what a blessing it is to have a congregation that refreshes the hearts of us all.
